One
of the best looking dials on any radio ever made! The
same glass dial is used on the 12-A-57 and both 16-tube
Stratosphere models. The dial glass sits behind the another
piece of glass that is attached to the escutcheon. There
were a few variations in the amount of color used on
the dial scales. I've been told that 3 different
variations of screenings have been noted. You will notice
that on the dial above, the frequencies are all white,
but on some sets, the frequency is also screened in the
band color.
