Zenith
Model 12-S-266, 1938. Like
all of the 12-tube consoles from this year, this set
uses the Zenith 1204 chassis. This
set is much harder to acquire than is cheaper sister,
the 12-S-265. I bought this console for $175.00 and removed
it from a lady’s laundry room, where it had been used
it to hold her laundry basket for the last 35 years.
This radio does not have the original cloth, but the
