Philco Model 16B tombstone, 1934 (early version). This unit has 5 bands (later 16B’s have 4 bands).  This model also carried over into the 1935 product line.  11 tubes.  In the Philco Radio book, Ron Ramirez calls this “one of the best shortwave radios ever made.”
